I spent an amazing weekend in Paris with Charles from Brussels. It was all about enjoying good food, meeting interesting people, visiting some interesting boutiques, and drinking good wine. Luckily, even the weather was amazing, which made it perfect three days. Not expecting anything always seems to make those trips the ones to remember.

Due to their new album release “things are what they used to be”, Zoot Woman made their way to the E-Werk in Erlangen (unbelievable that something like that happens in this area). They played a great variation of songs from all their three albums and overall performed a really good show. At least, Heikel, Maxi, Philipp, Davide and the rest thought so as well.

sushi.

heikel and I went to Düsseldorf the weekend and had the chance to learn how to make sushi properly – at least we tried to do one roll each. The majority was done by Vinnie and I must say it was one of the best sushi rolls I ever tried. I think Heikel would agree to that. Special Thanks to Aiko for keeping us busy all night long…

Common Projects.

I eventually decided to get another pair of Common Projects. This is a very qualitative sneaker brand out of Italy offering top quality and workmanship for each of their products. The look is very clean and simple and the materials chosen are just beautiful. Thank you very much Lucy!!!

I finally finished my fourth fixed gear project, a 80s Fausto Coppi frame using modern parts. the whole thing becomes addictive, and the new project is already lined up. This time it will be a French Gitane frame.

Due to the 20th anniversary of the Parisian label Maison Martin Margiela, the museum “Haus der Kunst” in Munich hosts a very interesting exhibition until June. The exhibition shows numerous works of the designer duo Martin Margiela and Jenny Meirens and gives insight in the history of the label.

On January 10th, 2009 at 19.13h, Petja Orzeszko was born. He is the son of my little brother Jascha and the newest member to our Orzeszko family. I am so happy to have him and very proud of my little brother.

That makes me uncle Kolja. Welcome to the world Petja.
